Consolidated order date update is now more customizable

The user can now set up the way dates are copied between step dates by checking the.


The check box changes the way the system updates the dates of the steps in the order:

1. If checked each date can now be changed manually without effecting the next.  This is intended for the use of companies that translate to a single language and the following languages have specific dates.
2. If left unchecked the second step (that is a language) copies its date to the rest of the following steps. This is intended for the use of companies that translate to a single language and the from that language translate to all additional languages. 

Please note ! 

This setting is global and effects all users using this page. 

Employee availability is here

Employee availability has arrived

Employees can now report there availability to perform tasks.



Manager assigning an employee can now see the availability of the employee in the date selector enabling the manager to take into consideration the employees requests.

New Task date binding

Now you can bind the task to 3 optional dates :

1. Select Task required date to set each task date separately.
2. Select Step delivery date to bind the task to the step date.
3. Select Order internal supply to bind the task to the order internal date.

Any change to the date the task is bound to will is reflected in the task.
If the task date is manually changed and doesn't match the original date the the binding is revoked.

Default task type date binding

Use the task type date binding to set general default binding for templates and new tasks.
This binding can be changed in every template and order separately to override the default.

Default template task date binding

Use the template date binding to set order default binding for new orders.
This binding can be changed in every order separately to override the default.

Task date binding

Use the task date binding to set the specific task binding to an order date.

Please note,
A task canot be Assign NOT required and Set date by as Task required date at the same time ! The value will be set by the system to Step delivery date by default with the following message!

New Rapid task allocation to employee

Set task date in 3 ways :

1. Set Task date and select the Task required date in the Set date by combo-box.
2. Select Step delivery date in the Set date by combo-box to set the target language date to the task.
3. Select Order internal supply date in the Set date by combo-box to set the internal order date to the task.

Quick filtering of both Employee and Tasks in one go :

Languages and Task combo-boxes filter both grids, removing unqualified employees from the Employee grid list while filtering the Tasks grid at the same time.

New large file download using Silverlight plugin

The new large file can be configured in the User information page,
On the User settings tab.

The user can install the Silverlight plugin and set up the following options:

1. Enable/Disable the large file download module.
2. The minimum file size to download.
3. The data chunk size to download.

Translation Manager first feedback

We have been using Translation Manager for a month now and the efficiency gains are monumental. I’m quite simply blown away!
